This is the plain-English version, because a policy you can't read protects nobody. It covers baileyroofingrestoration.com and describes what actually happens when you use this site — not what a template says.

Who we are

What we collect, and when

We only collect what you give us, plus basic analytics. There's no hidden collection and no tracking you across other websites.

When you fill in a form

Your name and phone number, and — if you give them — your email, property address, and whatever you tell us about the job. Name and phone are the only required fields.

When you use the roof calculator

The address you search, the roof outline you draw, the resulting measurement and price range, and the contact details you enter. The address goes to Mapbox so the map can find it.

When you use the storm tracker

The address you search. It goes to OpenStreetMap to be turned into map coordinates so we can check it against NOAA storm records. If you don't submit a form, we don't keep it.

When you chat with us

Everything you type. See the section on the chat assistant below — it matters more than the rest.

When you book an inspection

Your name, phone, email, address, and the time slot you pick.

Just by visiting

Google Analytics records pages viewed, roughly where you are (city-level), and your device and browser. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address.

We don't ask for and don't want your Social Security number, bank details, or card numbers through this website. If a page ever asks you for those, it isn't us — call us at (770) 381-8081 and tell us.

Why we collect it

To call you back, quote your job, book your inspection, do the work, and handle your insurance claim if there is one. That's it. We're a roofing company, not a data business.

The chat assistant

Our chat is answered by an AI assistant, not a person — it says so when it opens. What you type is sent to Anthropic (the company behind Claude) to generate a reply. If the chat ends with you asking us to get in touch, the whole conversation is savedto your record so the rep who calls you already knows your situation and you don't have to repeat it.

So: treat the chat like talking to our office. Don't paste anything into it you wouldn't say on a recorded call. If you'd rather not use it, just call (770) 381-8081— you'll get the same answer from a person.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we don't hand it to anyone for their own marketing. We do use these companies to run the business — they only handle your information to provide their service to us:

We'll also share your information with your insurance carrier or adjuster if you ask us to help with a claim, with our own crews and suppliers as needed to actually do your job, and if the law requires it.

Calls and texts

When you give us your number, you're asking us to call you about your roof. We call once to schedule. Your rep may also text you from their own phone about your job — a real person typing, not an automated system.

We don't use auto-dialers or robocalls, we don't send bulk marketing texts, we don't sell your number to other contractors, and we don't add you to a marketing list you didn't ask for.

Tell us to stop and we stop — say so on the phone, reply STOP to a text, or email office@baileyroofingrestoration.com. That applies even if we haven't finished quoting your job.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics sets cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones. We use it to see which pages help people — nothing else. We don't run advertising trackers on this site.

The site also stores two small flags in your own browser: one so the quote pop-up only ever bothers you once, and one so the chat bubble doesn't re-introduce itself every visit. Those never leave your device. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on. The site works fine either way.

How long we keep it

Leads and job records stay in our system while we're working with you and afterwards, because roofs carry warranties and insurance claims can reopen years later — having your file is usually what protects you. If you want yours gone, ask and we'll delete it.

The storm tracker keeps three years of public NOAA storm reports. Those are weather records, not personal information — no address you search is stored there.

Your choices

Email office@baileyroofingrestoration.com or call (770) 381-8081and ask us to show you what we have, correct it, or delete it. We'll do it — you don't need to cite a law and you don't need a reason. We may need to confirm it's really you first, and we may have to keep records tied to a signed contract, a warranty, or an insurance claim.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, and the system holding your information sits behind a login. No system is perfect, and we won't pretend otherwise — which is exactly why we don't collect payment details or identity documents through this website. There's nothing here worth stealing that we could have avoided holding.

Children

This site is for homeowners and property owners. It isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child sent us something, tell us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we'll update this page and the reviewed date at the top. We won't quietly start doing something this page says we don't.
